Fort Lauderdale Finally Has a Happy Hour Worth Leaving Work For
Every Tuesday through Sunday, from 4 to 7 PM, Jay's bars run The Drop. Curated $5 cocktails, $1 oysters, wines by the glass, and $25 bottles. Then from 4 to 5 PM, it goes further: half off the entire dinner menu, at our bars only. Order by 4:50.
The Food
$5 bites built around the best of the kitchen. Caviar bumps, prime rib cheesesteak sliders, wagyu gyoza, rosemary herb fries — plus $1 oysters and $19 wagyu steak frites.
The Drinks
Five-dollar cocktails including the iconic espresso martini. Wines by the glass, cold beers, and a bar program that doesn't take shortcuts even at happy hour.
The Room
A 1920s church with soaring arches and candlelight. Live music starts as happy hour winds down. Stay for the show.
After The Drop
Happy hour ends at 7. The room doesn't. Live music, DJs, and cabaret take over after dark — the same room, a different energy. Most people stay.
